Drain camera inspection: when it is useful
A drain camera can reveal deposits or structural defects when blockages recur. It needs suitable access and a sufficiently clear view.

What the camera can show
A suitable inspection may reveal an obstruction, displaced joint, crack, deformation, roots or standing water. The findings must be interpreted with the pipe route and access point. A picture without a reliable location may not be enough to plan repairs.
Why cleaning sometimes comes first
Cloudy water and deposits can prevent a useful view. A fully blocked line may need clearing before inspection. Camera work and unblocking are therefore related but different services; one does not automatically include the other.
Use findings to distinguish maintenance from repair
Remaining deposits may call for appropriate cleaning, while a damaged section or poor arrangement may need physical repair. Repeatedly opening a narrow passage without addressing a structural problem can allow the same blockage to return.
Agree the scope beforehand
Ask which length and access points can be inspected, how findings are recorded and whether location or further work is included. In a shared building, arrange access with the property manager. Read about drain unblocking in Anderlecht before booking.
