Cold radiator: air, valves or circulation?
A cold radiator does not automatically mean a boiler failure. The number of affected radiators and their temperature pattern help narrow the cause.

Compare other radiators first
One cold radiator with the rest heating normally suggests a local issue. Several cold rooms may involve controls, balancing or circulation. Note whether the radiator is cold at the top, bottom or throughout and whether it ever warms during a longer heating period.
Air is only one possibility
Air can collect and reduce heat transfer, but a blocked or closed valve, deposits or insufficient flow can produce similar symptoms. Bleeding is useful only when air is the issue; it cannot repair a failed pump or clear every restriction.
Controls and balancing matter
Check normal user settings and whether the thermostat is requesting heat. Thermostatic valves and hydraulic balancing influence which rooms receive water. Do not force a stuck valve or dismantle a hot connection. Describe changes after recent work on the system.
When to request a diagnosis
Recurring air, repeated pressure loss or several radiators remaining cold deserve investigation. Provide the pattern and boiler readings so the visit can be prepared. The aim is to restore appropriate circulation and heat distribution, not simply raise the boiler temperature indefinitely.
