Boiler pressure sensor: abnormal readings and fault messages
A pressure sensor informs the boiler controls about circuit conditions. An unusual reading needs comparison with actual pressure and the sensor circuit.

Measurement is not the same as water flow
A pressure reading helps the controls monitor the heating circuit. It does not prove that the pump is circulating enough water. A normal display and a cold radiator can therefore coexist, while a low-pressure message can be caused by real water loss or inaccurate measurement.
Record how the reading changes
Note the value when cold and during heating, any sudden changes and the exact message. Tell the technician about topping up, leaks and previous work. Avoid repeatedly filling a circuit based only on a reading that may be unreliable.
Check the sensor and its connections
A professional compares actual conditions, the sensor response, hydraulic connection and relevant wiring or control input. Deposits or a restricted pressure connection can affect the result. The reference and measuring range must match the appliance.
Restore reliable monitoring
If replacement is required, the disturbed connection must be sealed and checked. The technician verifies the displayed value and boiler response under suitable conditions. Do not bypass the sensor or its safety function to keep the appliance running.
Arrange a diagnosis in Anderlecht
Provide the make, exact model, full fault message and when the symptom occurs. Keep the appliance accessible without opening it, and mention previous repairs or leaks. ChauffePro can discuss breakdown diagnosis, repair and servicing. Availability and the proposed work are confirmed for your installation.
